Rhapsody Quintet at Moncton Community Concerts The Moncton Community Concert Association is pleased to announce the fourth concert of their 2006-2007 season. It will feature Rhapsody Quintet and be held at Moncton's First Church of the Nazarene, 21 Fieldcrest Drive, on Friday, April 20th at 8PM. Rhapsody Quintet has been thrilling audiences for the last 20 years. They have often appeared as guest artists with Symphony Nova Scotia, and are frequently featured on the CBC. The members of the Quintet are Anne Rapson, violin, John Rapson, clarinet, Shimon Walt, cello, Diana Torbert, piano and David Langstroth, bass. After a recent performance, Ron MacDonald of the Halifax Daily News wrote "The production is immaculate, elegant, polished and set off by delicate bursts of ironic passion, a musical adventure from start to finish". The program will feature works by John Williams, Jerome Kern, George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers. Rhapsody invites you to sit back, relax and let their music carry you away.
