Anne Rapson

A native of New Brunswick, Anne Rapson is an Associate Concertmaster of Symphony Nova Scotia and a former member of the Toronto and Vancouver Symphonies. Over the past two decades Anne has performed on Halifax stages in the Gallery Series, Dalhousie University Chamber Series, St Cecilia Series, Scotia Festival of Music, Highlights concerts, and as soloist with Symphony Nova Scotia., She trained at schools in South Carolina, Philadelphia and Rochester, NY., and is a graduate of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto. As a teacher Anne has been privileged to help many students advance to careers in music. In 1986 she founded the orchestral programs at the Maritime Conservatory of Music, and is a frequent adjudicator at music festivals in the Atlantic Provinces.
